WHAT TO BRING AND HOW TO DRESS?

Bring indoor shoes.

Dress in layers and bring comfortable clothes. You will go outside so bring warm winter clothes.

Bring your sports equipment if you want to snowshoe or cross-country ski and comfortable boots to walk outside.

Bring loose clothes for qigong and stretching in the morning.
-
Bring a yoga mat if you want to stretch on your own. There will be a room available for this purpose.

Bring an extra towel for your room if you wish (one towel is already available per person).

Bring some sandals or flip-flops to walk to the bathroom as well as a robe.

Bring your own toiletries (shampoo, soap, kleenex, hairdryer).

You have access to a laundry room if needed. It is suggested that you bring enough clothes so you don’t have to worry about it.

Bring your own water bottle. If it has a closed lid, you will be able to bring it with you in the retreat room.

Bring your own coffee-tea cup with a closed lid and your own tea bags for beverages between sessions.

Bring your own snacks if you need to eat between meals.

Bring a special cushion to sit on or one for your chair if you need it.

You are welcome to bring your own meditation cushion or a back jack chair.

Bring a watch or time device that is not your cell phone.
-
Bring a journal and pen for your own inquiry.

Don’t bring scented perfumes, candles or incense. You will not be able to use them.

Don’t bring any reading material.
-
You are strongly encouraged to not use your cell phone, iPad, iPod or access your email while on retreat.
PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION POLICY
Payment
Full payment is due at time of registration for retreat and room and board and can be made through PayPal with Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.
Cancellation and Refund Policies
Marie-Sylvie reserves the right to cancel a program at any time. If she cancels a program, you will receive a full refund.
REFUNDS FOR RETREAT:

Fully refundable (less a $50 processing fee) until 5:00 p.m. on November 15, 2024.

50 % refundable until December 1, 2024.

Nonrefundable after December 1, 2024.

No credit or refund is available if you cancel on the arrival day; if you do not show up; or if you leave an event early for any reason.

WHAT IS INCLUDED WITH THE ROOM?

Meals are provided:

Dinner on Friday

3 meals on Saturday

HOURS OF THE RETREAT
-
The retreat starts December 13th at 7:00 p.m. and ends on Sunday, December 15th at 4:00 p.m.

It is suggested that you arrive on Friday between 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. for registration. You then have a chance to settle in your room and get acquainted with the Center.

The Friday meal will be provided from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

The silence will start at the end of the Friday evening session.

A schedule will be provided upon arrival.
SHARING A ROOM

If there is someone with whom you would like to share a room, please inform the Galilee Centre when you register.
SPECIAL NEEDS REGARDING FOOD

Make sure to advise the Galilee Centre if you have any dietary restrictions.
-
Gluten-free meals will also be available.
-
If you have other dietary restrictions, you can bring your own food and a fridge will be available for this purpose.

PAYMENT AND RECEIPT

Payment for the room and the Retreat need to be done prior to the start of the Retreat to reserve your spot.
